Colour Bliss is an alluring collection of abstract works by Sydney based artist Naomi Charles. This collection showcases her expansive use of colour, expressed intuitively through the abstract form. From oil, acrylic or mixed media over canvas, linen and board, Naomi demonstrates her artistic instinct in harmonising colour through an assembly of arresting shapes, rich textures, spirited brushstrokes and dripped lines. These works capture a freedom and confidence that reflects her inspiration as well as her free-flowing creative process. Naomi delivers a passionate visual feast for her audience that is steeped in a personal love for art, music and modern culture.
“Colour is my true inspiration as it evokes a strong sense of optimism and harmony, colour is bliss. Creating individually inspired works, satisfies my aim to deliver an innovative visual experience to the spectator.”

‘The Blues’ is an abstract work with multiple textures. Playful brushstrokes with various shades and tints of blue, over a surface revealing a touch of pink. This small size work is perfect for any space needing a touch of the blues.

‘Yours Truly’ is my latest work.
This work truly captures my colour soul…..naturally, I used my favourite colour palette and let the brushstrokes do all the work.

Strong, intense colours and rhythmic brushstrokes define my latest abstract work ‘Heat’.
The perfect artwork to add energy to any wall or space.
Available to purchase – message me via Contact.

I entered my work ‘Conversation’ into Belle ArtStart, which took place on 13 March 2020 at the Art Gallery of NSW.
I love this work (a little biased I admit) – the blues, greys and mustard are so harmonious together….. #colourlove.
All art at the event is available for purchase. Please contact me for details.

I entered my work ‘118 Queen Street’ into the Paint Queen Street Competition Exhibition which took place 10 to 13 March 2020.
It was fun sharing an evening amongst fellow artists and art lovers….it was also interesting to see so many different depictions of Queen Street Woollahra, Sydney.
